Arthur Nizza

Arthur Nizza has served as president and CEO of Stellaris Health Network since July 2001, and serves as the chair of the operating committee of the Stellaris Health Network. He has successfully managed the network hospitals through critical rounds of managed care negotiations, business development initiatives, information technology strategic planning and other initiatives that either directly enhance revenue and/or aggressively manage long term expenses.
Prior to coming to Stellaris Health, Nizza was vice president at Health Quest/Mid-Hudson Health, a four-hospital system in the mid-Hudson Valley, and as chief information officer of Health Serve Information Technologies, a for-profit technology group formed to service the needs of health care organizations and their affiliates in the Hudson Valley Region. Prior to that, he was a corporate vice president at Mount Sinai – NYU Health and a vice president at Mount Sinai Medical Center/School of Medicine.
Nizza served as a 2001 board of examiners of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Long Island University and master’s and doctorate degrees from Adelphi University.
